Flexible Dayshift Weekday Hours - On Call 1 Weekend/Month

As an ER/Outpatient Float Nurse, you’ll provide skilled, compassionate nursing care for patients of all ages in both emergency and outpatient settings. This is a varied, hands-on position for an RN who enjoys critical thinking, teamwork and the opportunity to care for people across a wide range of needs.
What You’ll Do
Assess, triage and care for emergency patients of all ages
Respond confidently and efficiently to changes in patient condition
Coordinate closely with physicians, providers and other members of the care team
Assist with emergency and outpatient procedures, treatments and diagnostic testing
Provide medication administration, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring and other skilled nursing care
Educate and support patients and families throughout their care
Help create the respectful, safe and personal experience SCMH patients know and value
What We’re Looking For
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current Kansas RN license or eligibility for licensure
Current BLS and ACLS certification
PALS and TNCC certification within 6–12 months of hire
Strong assessment, communication and critical-thinking skills
A team-oriented nurse who values compassionate, patient-centered care
