Job Description
Goheen & Slavik, CPAs, LLC is hiring a Staff Accountant for its offices in Downs, KS and Smith Center, KS. The role covers a broad mix of client work, including preparation of tax returns, bookkeeping, and payroll, along with assurance engagements consisting of reviews, compilations, and agreed-upon procedures (AUPs). It is a position with real variety and the opportunity to work closely with experienced CPAs who are invested in your growth.
Job Requirements
An accounting or related degree is a plus, but all interested candidates are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable handling a range of tax, accounting, and assurance assignments across multiple clients. A willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team is more important than any single credential, and the firm welcomes applicants at a variety of experience levels.
